Chose this hotel because it was reasonably priced and because of its location. Its far from luxury but a good base to explore the Tatras National Park which has a huge selection of well marked hiking routes and the view from my balcony was beautiful. Its about 15 minutes walk from the busy pedestrianised street - Krupowki which has a great selection of rustic restaurants and beer gardens. The scenery around Zakopane is similar to what I've experienced in Austria and I would recommend the town in anyone who wants to hike during the day and enjoy a hearty meal and a few beers in the evening. more
