Lodging options in Zakopane are overwhelming and most of them are quite expensive tailoring the high end tourist crowd. I did a lot of research until I found Pod Berlami. It is on a quiet street and a just little ways up from the main tourist area so it is not noisy at night. We only had an overnight bag... More

My mother is Polish so we booked over the phone, however they all speak English so don't worry about calling. There is a website but it's not easy to find, I'll try to add it later. They are very nice people, although Polish people have not adopted the English custom of being polite, so don't be suprised if they seem... More
