The rooms were very neat and spacious. The place is pretty dated and run down but has a cozy feel to it. The reception area is dark and unwelcoming as others pointed out but the rooms were just fine and in a great location. The beds were very comfortable, but small. This tourist association-run hostel-type accommodation's biggest asset is it's very cheap. It was rather unwelcoming when we arrived, with the large reception area being shrouded in darkness as all the lights were turned off.
