Lovely hotel ,location perfect for getting around the city,very helpful and friendly staff. BUT...There is NO lift and we were on the third floor but was quiet, as the ground floor Mexican themed bar and restaurant can get noisy,there was also no Safety Box amenity and Reception was small but always manned.No air conditioning and the main hotel and rooms... more

The staff were helpful and polite, the rooms ridiculously cheap for the quality on offer and the restaurant awesome. Great cocktails, good value and close to the castle and town centre one way and the historic jewish quarter the other. Try and get the room with the balcony! I will definitely return. more

Recently, I took my three teenagers to Krakow to vist Auschwitz. We stayed at the Hotel Spatz and were very pleased with it. The old Jewish Quarter, where it is situated, is full of narrow streets with very bohemian cafes and restaurants.
