We stayed in the Piano Guest House for 3 nights in May. We liked the hospitality of pani Alexandra and her son Jan. They gave us a lot of useful tips about Krakow. The breakfasts were delicious and ...heartwarming. Owners made this place with spirit and love. The atmosphere in the hotel is magical.

My husband and I got scared when we were approaching the guest house, a run down area where you would not get any sleep due to the trains passing by every 10 minutes, drunks screaming in the middle of the night. The room was musty, and I was not comfortable opening the windows because I have a 3 year old,... More

I recently had the pleasure of staying a few nights at the Piano Guest House. My boyfriend and I had a beautiful room, coffee on arrival (even an offer of breakfast despite the fact we'd shown up at 8am, hours before check-in) and got to meet the most wonderful hosts, Orla and Jan. If you're travelling by train or bus,... More

We had just one night here but received some of the best hospitality we have ever experienced. We were being over cautious with our rental car and we were kindly able to park in the garden behind locked gates, and from the moment we arrived we had great service. The room we had booked had an issue with the bathroom and... More

No English spoken only Polish or French, never saw son who allegedly speaks English. No water tea etc provided in room. Impossible to sleep, main road plus a flyover right outside room, drunks outside shouting a 3 in the morning, together with railway line in to Krakow! Very run down part of Krakow, saw at least 2 drinkers roaming about,... More

The Piano Guest House is a great place to stay if you don't want/need to be in the city centre. It is, however, not so far from the center (approx. 15 minutes walking). If the area seems a bit weird (most of the old buildings are inhabited), your impression changes completely when you enter the guest house. The guest house... More

I booked a room for 2 nights in this hostel trough the website hostelword.com and the day after I received a call from the owner of the hostel that was puzzled about the reservation because the hostel was already fully booked. We both asked hostelword to refound me the amount I had already payed (about 10€) but they said they... More

My wife and I recently spent a week at the Piano Guest House and really enjoyed it. We had a lovely room and each morning an excellent breakfast was waiting for us. From the house you have about a ten minute walk to the bus/train station and the adjoining shopping mall and then it is only another ten minutes to... More

This was our third visit to Krakow and each time we have stayed at cheaper accommodation. The savings can be substantial but there is a difference in the accommodation and location, which should be considered before choosing. The Piano Guest house is a twenty minute walk to the city centre and any restaurants or bars so you may have to... More

Arrived from the airport about 11.30am and were welcomed with tea/coffee and some lovely bread and homemade jam (which we offered to pay for but it was refused) after we had been shown to our twin-bedded en-suite room on the ground floor. It was basic, but clean and comfortable. The owner was a lovely lady, and the breakfasts were varied... More
