Do not bother to visit this place. We are with the familly for the long may week-end and we could not imagine worst place to stay. I do agree that the location of the hotel is great though - right on the beach in quiet single dwelling neibourghood. Everything else is just below expected standard. The breakfasts are pure disaster... More

Mmm interesting one this. We arrived at Gdansk train station and my other half commented that we were driving through Beirut to get the hotel but once you get there it's worth the wait. It was quite quiet (late Sept) but still decent weather. Reception staff we were fine, not massively helpful = we didn't get offered any tourist guides... More

My daughter and I just spent 4 nights at the Lival Hotel. It was clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast just OK and the dinners very poor and expensive. Considering all the costs for taxis to get anywhere it was expensive. We did however enjoy the beach promenade with beautiful walking and bicycling lanes. The Poles are very outdoorsie -... More

This hotel has a great holiday location, just steps from the beach and a few minutes from the tram into the city centre. The staff were really helpful. The only improvement I could suggest was that the Air Conditioning did not work too well and the extra childs bed was a little flimsy.

After reading a lot of reviews on Gdansk hotels, we decided to stay at the 3* Hotel Lival, and it was a great decision! The purpose of our trip was city break + beach and we toyed with the idea of staying in Gdansk centre or doing a couple hotels - one in Gdansk one in Sopot. Hotel Lival turned... More

I have stayed at Lival several times, for business. In general, it is a brand-new, rather small, and nice hotel. The location is unbeatable, just several meters from the sea, if your room gives on this side, you can hear and see the sea, I like it very much. The service is nice and friendly, the prices are smaller than... More

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel and believe that it offers very good value for money. It is situated in an up and coming area, with fairly classy new apartments being built next door. It couldn't be any closer to the beach - it was fantastic to hear the sound of waves gently lapping onto the shore from our... More

This is a lovely hotel on the beach front, 2 mins walk from the tram to Gdansk (20-25mins). I stayed 3 nights there in november and had the hotel/staff to myself as i was the only guest ! The breakfasts and evening dinners were excellent (try the polish soup with cabbage and boiled eggs), all that for a reasonable price.... More

Last July I traveled in Poland with a group of around 40 people. We stayed 3 nights at Lival Hotel. It is a nice hotel beautifully located at the beach. Rooms are comfortable (some small). Breakfast was very good, and we had two suppers at the hotel as well - food was very good. I would recommend it and I... More
