This is the worst hotel I've stayed in for 20 years. My advice if this is your only option - stay home.

Never have I been to a place where no-one smiles. I've can imagine there are more smiles on Death row. This place is horrific, we were on the 4th floor in the 'Penthouse' a room with 1 velux window, no light in the bathroom and a filthy shower. Hotel is about 10 mins walk from town and they sell Capri sonne, they are the good points! In the staff handbook they need to write a passage about smiling, not even when we checked in did we see a smile. Oh and so so un-helpful. Avoid breakfast if you value your day, it WILL put you on the toilet... More

Hello:-) I would not recommend this hotel at all! The rooms are shady, part of the bathroom was broken, i would not go barefood on the carpet and if you expect a double bed because you booked one, i hate to disappoint you: two little beds in a tiny little room! the breakfast is in a "cellar" - not nice!... Although far from appalling this hotel unfortuntately deserves many of the negative comments in other reviews and has an accumulation of disappointing or poor quality features, which make staying there a poor experience: there was no light in my bathroom only a skylight (hard to wash at night); the main light was operated by a sensor (no switch) going off... One of the worst hotels I've stayed in in my life. I can deal with surly staff, but the rooms were HORRIBLE. Unliveable, unsleepable. Tiny bathroom. No storage space. Not really even beds, more like cots. Breakfast in deplorable Soviet-style room in basement.

Very nice hotel with big, clean rooms, friendly receptionists, good restaurant. It was a great experience staying there!

Unless it's the last hotel in Brno, avoid the Amphone like the plague. The staff were unfriendly and borderline rude, dealing with booking in, checking out standard requests like directions and dining advice with surly reluctance.
