We were directed to this charming hotel by a local. The room and service were first class, the breakfast buffet the best of our trip, and the rooms clean as a whistle. This is a good place to spend the night on the way to Slovakia coming from Prague or Cezcy Budeweiss. The hotel has an old world feel to... More

The Royal Ricc is certainly Royal and as the name suggests fit for a Royal. On arriving you immediately are made most welcome and the decor well is fantastic. The room was the warmest room I have ever stayed in,heated by a beautiful stove which had to be turned down it was so hot,but most welcome on a cold winter night.Decor in... The room has an "old world" feel to it--wood cabinets and desk, stained glass window (that opens). Room is medium size with 2 twin beds. Bath has handheld shower; Good wifi; TV has only BBC in English. Breakfast was usual Euro meat/cheese, with some fresh fruit, fried eggs, bacon, croissants and cake. What was weird was that I had to... More

The hotel was built in the 15th century I believe, it has beautiful led light glass windows, absolutely amazing hotel. Located on the foot of the main cathedral in the heart of Brno. Great breakfast. Only problem was finding the address.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It had a nice old world charm about it, at the same time, it has all the modern amenities like air conditioning, air dryers and a comfy king sized bed. My room was very quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best we've had travelling through 7 countries in Europe over 5... More

Nicely decorated rooms and great location in the centre of the Old Town BUT I had one of the worst night's sleep I've ever had in a hotel due to noise, firstly, from guests in the lobby bar and then, incredibly, from the night staff downstairs, with loud conversation going on until the early hours. Everything seemed designed to make... More

Hotel is a converted baroque house in a pedestrian area in the old town, very near the Cabbage Market. Some historical features have been retained such as the old stone staircase and others added such as murals and leaded windows. Rooms are decorated in the same style with reproduction furniture and painted ceilings. Our standard room, No 304, was at... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night on a car trip from Prague through Moravia to Budapest. The Royal Ricc is a smallish hotel in a very nice section of Brno. The hotel staff were all very nice and accomodating and spoke good English. The room was clean and well equipped, although the decor was a bit over... More

Hotel calls itself romantic and that is how it looks inside.. beautiful iron gate, many stained glass windows and paintings, nice furniture. Our room had one of those plus decorating celieng, it almost felt like we're in the castle. Room was big enough, very clean, beds-2 single joined with comfortable mattresses. The only problem we had was the air con.... More
