As others have noted, the stairs are daunting, the place is old, and there are some doors and lighting to navigate your way through. It is an old place not worth the money. There is a very small reception area that is shared by other pensions. To get to our room you go thru a large locked wooden gate located outside a pizza parlor up two flights of stairs to another locked iron gate, then up two more flights of stairs. No elevator.
