My husband and I stayed at this hotel to go to the Pardubice Steeplechase along with 22 fellow travellers. I have stayed in some "simple hotels" before but this was not simple it was terrible. Limited bedding the under sheet was a narrow slip of material with hardly covered the mattress and kept falling off in the night leaving us sleeping on the mattress. The duvet was an eiderdown in a duvet case with no fastening, so it kept coming out. We had a towel each the size of a hand towel which was worn thin. The shower was broken and you had to hand hold it leaving it impossible to wash properly.The curtains did not meet and only had a few hooks. The drains were block so stank. Breakfast was very limited. The reception was dark and the welcome non existant.
Pardubice is very nice and the race great and we had some excellent meals in the town but sleep on the park bench rather than The Hotel Sport.
