We spent 4 nights at this hotel while visiting Prague. The hotel is one of the best values in Prague: the price was very reasonable; the rooms were clean and quiet with adequate space; the breakfast was very good with a nice selection of items; the staff and service was excellent; it's location is close to public transportation and several... This is really a B&B but very comfortable, good location and excellent staff. Breakfast very good. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone. Two nights. Great dinners at nearby pubs. Took the Grand Tour of Prague, above average but not outstanding. Prague is a beautiful city and has much history of interest.

Stayed for six nights, a very pleasant experience with good breakfast, tasteful rooms and responsive staff. Slightly out of the main tourist area but only a couple of stops away by tram.

We stayed at hotel Petr for a weekend get away in Prague last month. The hotel was clean, very roomy, located very close to some of Prague's great landmarks. The hotel lies within walking distance of the Charles bridge and the castle. Tram stops are a short two minute walk and some authentic Czech restaurants are near the area as... More

Excellent accommodations - cozy and comfortable rooms, warm and hospitable staff, all the amenities one might need, plus fabulous (and quiet) location on the south edge of Mala Strana.

I stayed at the Hotel Petr in Lesser Town in Prague with the Road Scholar program from Oct 23-30. Our gracious host, Tomas, whose family owns the hotel, was everything one could want - a perfect host. Both Tomas and anyone at the front desk were most helpful in providing information and assistance for any request of sites to visit,... More

I found this hotel very affordable, had a great breakfast buffet, and the rooms were simple but functioned for the traveler that sleeps, eats breakfast and goes out to see the town. It is 2 blocks from the metro system, get your ticket for the day or week at the front desk. If you are a walker, the Charles Bridge... More

Although a short walk or tram ride to the historic center, the location is really perfect, quiet, and "real" compared to the "fake" part of the old city. Easy tram rides to Castle, to center, and walking distance to the Gehry building. The staff was helpful even if their English was not always perfect. The breakfast was fine, if simple.... More

Hotel Petr was a good place to stay for us. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped-even a refigerator. The hotel is clean and the staff helpful. We liked being a little away from the mayhem but still close enough to walk to most sites. Tram stops for the main lines were two-three blocks only. We could walk to the National... More

We had planned to stay in a partnering hotel closer the city but when we arrived we found out they did not have enough rooms so we had to move to Hotel Petr. Thankfully, we were not let down by this hotel. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and spacious. There was a nice bathroom, tea and... More
