We booked room type apartment and got huge room with bath up and shower separately.Almost like our apartement that we're stay in our home country.A bit noisy area because tram, car, etc but after a few days we use to hear that and not annoying us during our stay in there. Furnitures a bit vintage and in our room has... More

Good things: The room is quite spacious but it is not very modern. There are hair dryer, TV, safe, kettle and even microwave in the room. Towels are provided too. It is a 8-10 minutes walk from old town square. So it is convenient yet not too noisy. Breakfast contains loaf of bread, tea or coffee, yogurt, waffle snack bar,... More

Clean and tidy with a sizable breakfast, which could be used for lunch as well. The place is on the 5th floor of an apartment blocks, which is a bit of a heave with a big suitcase although there is a lift. The location, just on the edge of Josefov, is an easy walking distance from nearly everything this side... More

We travelled with two children and stayed two nights. We had an apartment and this is a large and well equipped room (with a mix of old and new furniture). The hotel is at 5 minutes walk from the big square . The hotel is worth the money and you get where you pay for .

This pension is big part of why I am going to return to Prague... Value for money, great location, clean and comfy accommodation with good breakfast, what else do you need? The main reason we chose to book this accommodation is it's proximity to the Old Town and the price is cheaper than all other accommodations in the area. We... More

The reception is almost non existence. All the hotel guests have to do is just to get the room key from a small little pigeon hole at the entrance. Go to your room, open the door and that's it. There will be a lady that comes every morning to serve you full English breakkie. I love the breakfast. You pay... More

We selected this Pension due to its proximity to the Old Town and the price. We did not realize until after booking that there is no staff to open the door, welcome you and show you the place except from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. You have to figure out how to get the keys, use the ancient elevator, figure... The platan seems to be serviced rooms with no staff available from about 14:00. The rooms are on the fifth floor in a run down building but this is quite common for prague. its about 100m from the river and about 5 min walk from the Powder Tower/Old Town Square. The rooms are basic but clean and are fine if... More

Despite what others have said here - there IS a lift up to the 5th floor thankfully!!!! Its very old and very rickety and only takes a maximum of 3 people but it works fine. As for the Pension itself, it was spotlessly clean and warm - especially welcome seeing as it was -18 outside when we arrived. The beds... More
