We have just returned from Prague and stayed in the Barcelo Hotel (New Town), I must say that some of the reviews on here surprise me. We thought we had booked the one in the old town but the taxi driver informed us this one was out of town though a 10 minute walk to the metro meant it was not the end of the world. Hotel is out of old center, but only 7 to 10min to undergraund Metro station "Budejovicka", red line or C line, five stations to center Muzeum station on Vaclavski square and you are in town.
