Hotel Residence Mala Strana was a great place to stay - within easy walk of the old town, and quite close to the tram which went to the castle area. The room was spacious and the bathroom was good. We had self-contained facilities but didn't use them much. The breakfast provided was quite generous and the staff were helpful.
