We were accomodated in a partner hotel (kucera).
Very nice location, view, big room
BUT very old bedroom, with a smell of mold, the carpet was rotten.
Impossible to stay in the room where the breakfast was served because of the smell of mold.
We are now in a new hotel in Marienbad, I would affraid that the elefant hotel...

We visited the hotel during the film festival and selected this place only because we could not get anything else. First surprise was a dusty pavement which was under reconstruction with a whole quay. I understand it was a townhall action but hotel should warn before booking or at least apologize for a messy environment.

Was a little dubious when booking as this hotel was really cheap for a central location.You have to check-in at Hotel Kucera 70m away as there is no reception at The Elefant but I knew this when booking.We booked four rooms & had no complaints about any of them.Basically furnished but we weren't going to be spending much time in...

Super basic hotel. Clean room, clean bathroom, clean towels, clean sheets... bedbug free... little fridge in room, right in town. Three of us stayed for $60. Friendly, helpful staff. If you are just looking for a really basic, clean place to stay - this is it. Maybe bring a book and a deck of cards? Be sure to reserve parking.
