If you want to avoid Americans who tend to stay at other hotels except for Backroads guests, this is a good hotel. It caters to groups of cyclists and Asian tour groups. Be sure to view a couple of rooms before accepting as they vary greatly. We would not recommend dining here, though.

We came from Prague for a weekend. The location is great and the rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. Excellent memories from everything.

I stayed here with my 2 teenage sons and we were very satisfied. We had a good sized, 2 bedroom apartment with separate kitchen and dining. We arrived at midnight in Cesky Krumlov from Prague and didn’t know that many pensions close reception desks at 6pm. Zlaty Andel happened to be on hotel which has 24-hour reception and available rooms. The rooms were really cute and was really big. There was a really nice, big bathroom. Internet services were available, so that was convenient. And the hotel is located right on the central square, so that was good. The breakfast was pretty good.
