Stayed at Wanderlight for a few days this month and have stayed here previously. I find the short walk to the shops a great feature and the meals at the upstairs Skylight restaurant are really first class. Friendly owners and staff. Has always for me been a very comfortable stay there.

This motel is great every time i go there, and i go there alot with work and visiting rels. Large rooms with everything you need. Easy walking distance to the town shops. The only let down being the other people staying there, banging, crashing and yelling at children who wernt listening. There was a jack for dial up internet but... More

Our family of 5 squeezed into a Deluxe Room over the Easter break of 2011. Mudgee is vey busy at this time and we had left our booking until very late. We found the room at the Wanderlight met our needs. The room was clean and the bathroom functional with a reasonable shower. In the evenings the noise from other... More

We stayed here for one night having booked on-line. Had we seen the place before booking we would not have stayed here. The rooms are depressing and reception was not at all welcoming. This hotel is not good value for money. I expected more for this room rate and received more in other hotels we stayed in on this trip... More

When I queried the overcharge, they were very arrogant, rude and very aggressive in refusing to honor their quoted room rate. In addition the rooms were old and musky from dampness. There is a pub nearby and patrons there were so noisy it was hard to sleep.

The room was clean however it was extremely run down. The bed was not very comfortable and I had neck pains when I woke up. During the night we could hear the people in the room above us, luckily they did not stay up too late. Generally seemed very overpriced.

Stayed for three nights. Motel is obviously an older motel but the rooms were very clean - just dated looking. Bed was superb - possibly brand new because it was perfect to sleep on. Second bed was a single and third was a fold out lounge but it too was surprisingly comfy. Even with four of us there was plenty... More

Stayed one night for business. Very standard 3 star motel. Nothing remarkable about it. Typical of any other highway motel although its in a quiet spot. It is old, and simple and fairly comfortable. I was there on a warm night, however the gaps around the doors etc could be an issue in winter. Wirless internet $5/hr.

I have been to Mudgee many times and I have never stayed at this hotel as I thought that it would be unpleasant due to its appearance. As I really didn’t have much choice I booked it and was prepared for the worst. I can honestly say that I was very pleasantly surprised. Whilst this is certainly not the most... More

My Husband and I stayed at wanderlight mudgee on saturday 3rd march for out 25th wedding anniversary the owner was lovely and friendly. The room was clean tidy and set out well. Great place to stay. The special touch of flowers at dinner was very thoughtful. The food was great and well presented. We will stay again at this motel... More
