Don,t believe all that you read just returned from a short break to this hotel read some really bad reviews, but overall a lovely hotel very clean friendly staff very helpfull and food good. Some people expect 5* luxury for 2* price will certainly go back only draw back up a hill but most are in Arenal

I stayed 7 days at Piñero Tal and don't recomend it. The entrance always smelled bed, the food was awfull and the area is very dirty. From the beach is a steep walk, very hard to do carrying children. Choose another hotel.
