The hotel is clean and staff are very visible in their housekeeping duties. It is a bit dated however. Arenal is aimed at the German market so understandibly the food in the hotel was quite continental. Breakfast was cold meats, cheeses, breads,cereals, yoghurts and a selection of fried items.
