The only reason to stay at the hotel is because of the close location to Northcape. The public rooms are recently renovated, but the rooms are extremely small and they look like nothing has been done with them since they were new. The breakfast is excellent. But the rooms are extremely expensive, - even compared with Norwegian hotel rooms.

Confortable hotel in Honningsvag, near by the port. Rooms in norweagian style, cleans, in wood, warm. The breakfast is rich and tasty. When visiting the Nord Cape, this is a good base to stay.

The Rica hotel in Honningsvag is a lovely hotel, rooms are clean not very big, but big enouch for 2 persons. But don't ask a room with a view on the harbor. Our room has harborview but we look into an old warehouse! We can recomment this hotel.

You don't have much option of where to stay to visit the North Cape, but this hotel was not really up to scratch. Our room was very small - nowhere to put luggage and hardly room to walk past the beds! Wireless internet only available in public areas. Very limited hotel parking. Otherwise it was OK.

I read that when you go that far north, you should consider yourself lucky to find a place to rest. I guess the Rica hotel understood that and, as it must be rather rare that a client returns there, they ensure that you will pay a lot for not much. Most of the clients there are on a bus tour....
