We've spent numerous ski vacations at this hotel (close to 20), as a couple, with friends, with small children (even babies) - and now with teenagers. The kids simply refuse to discuss any alternative! Why we go back: Location. It's simply not possible to have more "ski in/ski out" than Goldener Berg has. And a good and clean ski room... more

We are a family of four who stayed at the Goldener Berg from 16-23 February 2008. The place is simply great for a relaxing skiing holiday. The hotel is situated slightly higher up the slope than most of the other hotels in Oberlech and the view from our spacious room was simply beautiful. The hotel is truly ski-in ski-out. I have skied all over the world - Switzerland, Australia, Austria, France, Italy, New Zealand, Canada, USA. To my mind Oberlech, Lech and St. Christoph just can't be beaten. The pistes are groomed to perfection each day. One is practically guarranteed great snow from December to April. The mountain restaurants are divine - and best of all the Hotel Alter... more
