Myself and my boyfriend recently travelled to the Abbey Beach resort.. i think the email I sent to management after our stay explains the dissapointment of our stay: ''ATTN: General Manager Myself and my partner stayed in the Abbey Beach Resort on Saturday night. We booked into room 27S and were pleasantly surprised by the room and view. We heard... More

We travelled to the Abbey Beach from Joondalup for a short break and were very pleased with the hotel. Check in was ok. We were given a room away from the pool area, even though we had requested one overlooking the pool. This was a bit dissapointing but it didnt spoil the weekend. The room was great with everything we... More

On our first night we decided to eat in, and tried to turn the radio on for ambience while we ate on the balcony overlooking the pool, however it wouldn't turn on as there were no batteries in the remote. We rang reception at around 6.30pm who said they would send someone up, however no one ever came. On the... More

Dear Guest, I am disappointed to hear your comments. I truelly apologise for maintenance not attending to the batteries in the remote. In regards to the TV issue we did have technicians working on the problem until the early hours of the morning, when they found the problem it needed parts and they could not be accessed until later that... This was our first holiday out of Perth since we arrived 20 months ago and what a fabulous time we had at Abbey Beach Resort. On booking I was told we would have a first floor unit, sea facing with a balcony. On arrival we walked into the most spacious unit with a beautiful sea and pond view. The unit... More

After booking a studio room online and having the rooms description include that of a private balcony, I was somewhat disappointed on arrival. There was no balcony in my room, and upon opening the curtains the only 'view' was of the roof of the building next door. I literally could see about 5 cm of sky and that was it.... More

Dear Guest, I am disappointed to hear some of your comments. All out studios have a balcony, so I am unsure what you style of accommodation you booked. Sounds to me like you may have booked a 1 bedroom apartment, and some of those do not have a balcony, which is clearly described when booking. I am sorry there was... More

My wife and stayed here for twon nights, Sat & Sun. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms clean and well kept. The only downsides were the spa didn't work and to be fixed, unfortunately never got to use it and on the Sunday night we thought it would be nice to go for a cocktail at... More

We had a studio for 3 nights at the end of a tiring Australian holiday via Hong Kong from England. We found the hotel very relaxing:lovely landscaped gardens with lake and ducks and confortable room with a bathroom with spa bath and walking shower. We stayed at the Abbey Beach Resort for two nights while travelling around Australia, why didn't we stay longer?! There is a choice of hotel rooms or self-catering apartments, we had the later. Everything was very clean and very modern. There are three swimming pools, a cafe and the beach is just a walk through the gardens. When we come... More
