This is a great resort rooms very clean and staff all very helpful. Pools looked very inviting but we didnt use them. Make sure you book early for diner as it books out. Walk across the road to beach.

Having booked the night before our stay we were very happy to have found such a bargain. Good facilities with a yummy looking restaurant. We didn't book ahead so didn't actually get to eat there but the menu looked nice. Noise travels far in the rooms (thin walls) but luckily no noisy neighbors. Friendly staff and a handy convenience store... More

The Wyndham Resort is the perfect getaway destination and at this time of the year there are some great deals available. Our Latitude 38 Restaurant is very popular amongst hotel guests and local residents, we recommended a reservation for Friday and Saturday nights to guarantee... More

This was a business trip with early evening arrival and prompt morning departure in blustery water-laced wind that didn't encourage exploration of the beach and beachside pavement across the road. Check-in was efficient but it was odd to have to go back across the wind-tunnel covered driveway to find our rooms, down long, narrow, grey-toned hallways. Pleasant, spacious room with... More

Stayed here when it was still a Crowne Plaza so I assume staff are the same, name is not. Worst laid out hotel I've ever been in. Had to go up a certain stairs and lift to make sure we got to the right section at the very far side of the hotel, was crazy. Arrived late on a Friday,... More

Located opposite the beach with many rooms having a beach view and about a ten minute walk to the main strip. Pool looks great though being late autumn we weren't brave enough to attempt it. Indoor heated lap pool was excellent. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. As others have mentioned corridors are narrow, dark and windy especially if you... More

We picked up a 1 bedroom apartment off the internet for $99 on special about 2 weeks before our arrival and would definitely go back. We arrived quite late at night and had an awesome experience at check in considering it was nearly midnight the night before a public holiday, check in was super smooth and we even got offered... Since this was a Crown Plaza and having stayed at one recently, I was surprised to see how tired the hotel looked. There were carpet stains both in the hallway and room. The decor was plain and not of a good standard and the price you pay. Certainly it was no better than a Motel. I have stayed at the... More

Wow! What can I say. We got a bargain through a wotif deal and we were not one bit disappointed. Firstly, we booked two rooms and the receptionist kindly upgraded us to a two bedroom apartment which was fantastic. Very spacious, awesome location and the views from the restaurant are to die for. The facilities are amazing. The kids loved... More

Booked a short 2 night stay and to visit the Torquay area for the first time. The resort is in a good location overlooking the beach and is a massive building looking somewhat out of place on a corner of The Esplanade Check in: Efficient bell people quick to advise where to park etc and very friendly The agent on...
