We thoroughly recommend this place to everyone!! A gorgeous B&B on the highway as you head into Port Fairy. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful, with tips on what to do in town, which restaurants they recommended etc etc. The cottages were all very cosy and comfortable, complete with a gas pot fire, large flat screen tv, and a... We had such an amazing time at Clonmara. the owners were fantastic, they greeted us with open arms, the cottage was amazing, lovely and warm and cosy as the fire was already going when we arrived at... When I return to Port Fairy I will go no further than Clonmara B&B. Never have I had a more welcoming experience. My husband & I were taking a trip through Victoria to do the Great Ocean Road for our 25th Wedding Anniversary & the special date coincided with our 2 night stay at Clonmara so the bottle of champagne... We chose to stay at Clonmara at the end of our trip along the Great Ocean Road and what a great decision it was.We stayed in one of the newer studio apartments and were made feel welcome from the time we arrived. The studio was in a large garden setting and was spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The bed was... More

After traveling from Geelong to port Fairy we have seen some odd B&B , and other accomodation , this was everything it said it was and more. Very clean and tidy. Very well appointed with all the luxuries and even a rubber duckie. Make this a must stay.

This place totally surpassed our expectations. The cottages were so cute and clean, had old world feel to it, but had all the modern amenities. We had Cherry Plum cottage, and the private garden was just a beautiful place to chill out. The owners were incredibly friendly and the additional touches such as providing us towels for the beach, and... More

Lovely cottages in the garden of an English tearoom. When we visited there was not a soul in sight and we had the entire garden to ourselves. Every cottage has it's own outside area with wooden furniture. Communal garden is large and has a swing, trees, chickens, veggie garden etc. You can use the bbq for your own dinner. The... More

I loved this place, it had everything I was after. It had a beautiful new Studio Cottage with the view onto the area where the alpaca's where grazing. They had a fireplace and great facilities. Wonderful spa bath with lovely bath salts. The bed was very comfortable and then the next morning we had freshly baked scones and tea. Absolutely... More

We were only able to visit Clonmara for our last lunch in Port Fairy while staying at the Douglass on River B&B. If only we had found Clonmara sooner! I had the superb chunky beef steak pie and it had obviously been marinated in one or more ingredients that produced the wonderful flavour. The chef Douglas and his charming wife... More

We stayed here only one night and chose it because it was dog friendly and AAA rated. Unfortunately we didn't get a cottage with a fenced yard but we were able to take our dog out around the gardens on a lead which was fine. The garden cottage we stayed in was very well appointed with a large bathroom and... More
