me and my girlfriend recently spent two sleepless nites here in a double room. the bed was so old and un comfortable i cud hardly walk after the second nite. pluse the legs were all broken off and the bed was on blocks. the owner seems on a power trip. he basically follows you round and critisies everything. plus he... We stumbled across this hostel in Lorne, and because it was low season, we were offered a private room for $70/night. The room is obviously usually used as a dorm as there were 5 beds in there. It was great for the 2 of us, but with 5 in there it would have been very crowded! Good location, just outside... More

A lovely location, quiet and laid back. I stayed in a dorm for a couple of nights and it was comfortable, clean and had a real vibe that's missing in so many other places. All the people I met were friendly and down to earth. Also make sure you try the Erskine river tea house which made the best cuppa... More

We stumbled upon this place by chance and it was just excellent. Walked up the stairs and found a sign with a phonenumber to call.
