“Value on a $$$budget.”

Something happened in this motel which became, for us, the symbol of reasonably-priced, run-down, slightly seedy budget motels... It was very reasonably priced ($75) and past its prime... (the air-conditioner had a scourer-sponge jammed in it to keep the vents open)... but perfectly adequate. But the symbol of past-their-prime motels? Well, I had trouble getting the electric kettle to work.... More

Average but cheap accommodation. ok for a quick bed for the night. mattress a bit hard. Room seemed clean. Shower took a while to heat up. Probably the cheapest room in town.

It is located about 5 minutes away from town. It seems like the cheapest motel in Benalla and it gives a good value for what you paid. The room was clean and tidy. The best thing that I noticed was there was no single bug in my room! I had a good sleep without any disturbance.
