We stayed just one night, before the Great Ocean Road half marathon. Initially booked through booking.com and so did someone else at the same time. “Decent Motel away from the busy strip”

Skenes Creek is one of a little town along the Great Ocean Rd, about 6 km from the popular Apollo Bay. The motel is set on a big piece of land, with the front rooms overlooking the ocean. if you are looking for a great getaway, beautiful location, friendly staff. Skenes creek lodge motel is the place to go. the rooms are very clean and tidy. if you have kids its walking distance to the beach. Had a wonderful time, stayed for several days midweek, in one of the larger rooms, with wood heaters and ocean views. Lots of space around the motel. Had a wonderful country feel about the whole place. Cows in the back paddock. Felt like I had come home. Country girl!! Friendly owners. 5 minutes from apollo bay, but no big drama.... More
