What a little gem! We have now stayed at Motel Marengo twice and we will be back! Its a great distance for a long weekends trip from Melbourne and its away from the riff raff! Stayed here for the weekend with the kids.Worked well having 2 separate bedrooms and with a little kitchenette which was useful for mealtimes and helped to keeep the costs down.Apollo Bay can be expensive place,even for Oz standards ! It was a 20 minute walk into town center...no probs if you have a car or like to walk along the... More

Stayed here in early March 2012. The room had two QS beds, well spaced apart (one in the living room, one in the bedroom. It's really nice when travelling "twin" to not have to fight over who gets the big bed! Tea and coffee making and I think there was a microwave (check - don't take my word for it).... More
