We stayed in one of the newer units and found it spacious and well equipped. The owners were in the midst of renovating the office but were welcoming when we arrived. Our only gripe about the place was the laundry could have had longer opening hours. Otherwise a nice place to stay.

The park is right in town. Other review said 1 dryer, still 1 dryer, 3 x washing machines?!? We RV'd. Staff were friendly when we asked to move site (were put next to BBQ & all night light, when the park empty). Penguin tour next door was average, they told us on tour the season was nearly over... stayed in Caravan park. Did not live up to expectations. 1 drier for entire park which was broken. Managers were rude, abusive, threatening and not caring. Toitet doors did not close so a stranger accidentally walked in on my son while on the toilet.

A lesson learned in getting what you pay for! We booked this room as much of the accommodation in Bicheno was booked out. The room was spacious, and had all the amenities you would require when holidaying, which was good. But it had an awful cleaning agent smell that was horribly overpowering. Bicheno east coast holiday park is an average campervan site with nice, modern cabins and permanent caravans. We stayed for two nights with friends in two bed cabin which was surprisingly spacious, very comfortable and fully self contained. The holiday park is located in the heart of the small town and a short stroll to the beach. Bicheno is a lovely seaside town with a couple of great restaurants - don't just "pass thru".
