I Travel a lot for work, staying in many hotels/motels, however this little motel in the south-east would be my favourite. Owners John and Di are extremely nice and welcoming... I've stayed here 5 times for the south east field days, and after rocking up in a singlet and shorts they both stilled remembered who I was by name. It's... More

We stayed at this friendly motel at Christmas Day. It turns out, all Australia is closed that day and no chance to get a dinner. The owners were so lovely and prepared tasty sandwiches for us! Thank you so much! The pricing is ok and the room had everything we needed for one night.

A group of aviators chose this accommodation due to its proximity to the Kingston airfield and stayed here for 1 night, booking 5 rooms. The rooms are basic but clean, the bed was very comfortable, the shower water was hot and there was no noise and best of all it is very reasonably priced. The owner was very obliging and taxied... old and tired. everything needs an update. turned on box air con and it was so noisy we couldn't hear the old box tv which is perched on the paint chipped bench. right next to the faded tan leatherette chairs. this place really needs freshening up. not a huge cost, just some effort.

We have stayed at this motel a number of times in the past couple of years on our way to mount gambier and have always had a pleasant stay. We find it very reasonably priced and even though they are basic rooms it has everything we need for a one night stay. We have stayed in a number of different... More

I don't know who gave the rating to this place, but in comparison with most European hotels with the same number of stars this one is just overpriced terrible-horrible dirty place. Well, people are friendly, but quality of the accommodation is below any expectations. We were not able to have a proper rest because it is too uncomfortable in each... More

After travelling from Port Fairy via Portland and Cape Nelson we arrived at Robe Lakeside Manor, our accommodation which had been booked 5 months previously and paid in full, only to find we were double booked and there was no other accommodation in town. There were two rooms available at Kingston some 45 ks down the road, one at the Crown... More

We stayed at this motel for an overnight stop on the way to Great Ocean Rd. The price was reasonable. The rooms are a good size with everything that we needed for an overnight. It is not right in town but as we just wanted a simple takeaway for dinner we walked the few metres to the BP servo for... More

Econo Lodge has seen better days, but it is run with love & the rooms (while basic) are adequate. The bed is comfy, the fridge is roomy, there's a comfy couch & plenty of room. Paid $85 for the night. The owners are friendly & helpful. I'm really bad with names, but spoke to the lady & she was really... More

Good location for a business trip. I arrived quite late Monday evening and the reception I received was welcoming. They have no restaurant which is clearly advertised. However, reception called me and asked if I required breakfast. I was please with that. Overall, my stay was pleasant and quite.
