The Blue Mountains is really a beautiful place to see and the Mountain Heritage really was one of the places that just topped everything off!! The drive to the hotel was easy to navigate to and the staff upon arrival were fantastic!! The first impression of the hotel (from the outside) doesn't look like much, but once inside you can... Three girls headed to the Mountain Hertiage for a girls long weekend away. We stayed in the family suite (room 28) so we could all stay together. The room was spacious, king bed, desk, lounge, TV, table and chairs in one room and two single beds, TV and desk in the other. The bathroom was also great with a spa... More

Both my husband and I really like old style hotels and this one fitted the bill. Our room facing the Blue Mountains was large and comfortable with spectacular views over the mountains. We had planned to have dinner outside the hotel but the warm lounge and the lovely piano playing enticed us to have dinner at the hotel. While portions... More

We were attracted to this place because the suite has an open fire place. The suite itself is a bit "tired" in an old world charming sort of way. Previous reviewers noted the heavy handed use of air freshener, which were also struct by. Expired long life milk in the fridge was a bit hard to take two mornings in... More

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for your review and feedback. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay, especially experiencing the use of an open fire in your room. We are also happy that you enjoyed the piano playing from our resident pianist, Allan, it certainly is a relaxing evening in our lounge beside the open fires. We may have to... More

We where given quite a good write up by our travel agent to this hotel, but now find out that she has never been here !! It is an old rambling hotel and you go up and down stairs just to get to your room. When we went downstairs, we got a air freshener smell. This was even stronger in... More

Dear Reviewer We checked your reservation with the Agent, and there is no record of a request for a ground floor room. You would be aware that our Receptionist , did her best to accommodate your request upon your arrival at 1753hrs, and as no ground floor rooms were available, she allocated a room which did require negotiating a small... ... with a little bit of attention to detail. We arrived for an overnight stay on a Friday and were met by a very friendly receptionist (Lisa) who quickly detailed the different rooms they had and we chose a front upstairs room (#9) which had outstanding views over the valley. It was a kingsize room that required the bed to... More

Dear Craig, Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay with us. I have passed on your positive comments to our receptionist, Lisa who took care of you so well on your arrival. You certainly chose well when you decided to stay in that room as it does have truly magnificent views. Our beds are only quite new Sealy... More

We booked this hotel via trail finders in the Uk and I must confess it was not up to the usually high standard we have come to expect when booking through them. Don't get me wrong our stay was nice enough just not great. Our room definitely had 'echoes of the past' as reference by other travellers but my take... More

We stayed three nights here as a centre for exploring the Blue Mountains. We had been given a free upgrade to one of the spa rooms with a view towards the Jamison Valley although on the first morning it was non existant by the thick mist! We found all the staff helpful with our requests including going into the Tower... More

We stayed at this hotel during a 1-1/2 month self drive of Australia in March. Our room was clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. Although our room was overlooking the roof the dining room had a magnificent view of the Blue Mountains. The young lady who served us breakfast was very pleasant. Mountain Heritage is a small, stately... More

Edwardian hotel.very tastefully-refurbished . Delightful public rooms - very cosy lounge , bar , dining room . Our room ( number 1 ) was large and elegantly and comfortably furnished - although some other guests complained of small dingy rooms. Good restaurant with lovely views ( weather permitting !) Outdoor unheated pool and useful small gym in nearby wooden chalet.... More
