spacious shared kitchen and lounge area, friendly staff, room was decent, bit of a walk from the train station, especially if you have luggage, but do-able.

Stayed for 3 nights in March, great place, had private ensuite. Comfortable, clean and quiet with good facilities downstairs. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. All ages of people staying in the hostel. Was a great base to explore the area.

We opted for the private room, which was discounted with a YHA membership (easy to get online). We had an en suite bathroom, and a locking door. The kitchen was clean, and everyone was very helpful. Centrally located, everything is easy to get to.

Stayed here recently and was really happy with the facilities. Heating and showers in ensuite rooms was excellent, just what you need after a long day checking out the wilderness. Communal area is great and the kitchen has loads of space and equipment. Highly recommended for young travellers wanting to get the best experience of the Blue Mountains.

We stayed at this hostel during an international press trip with Destination New South Wales for a global youth campaign. Overall, I couldn't have been happier with the service. The rooms were clean and modern, the facilities well cared for, and the atmosphere friendly and inviting. Definitely recommended.

Like I said, as a first hostel experience, this place is going to be hard to beat. I had a really positive vibe from all the staff and occupants. Room was great and clean. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!
