A good hotel overall ; clean modern rooms, efficient and friendly staff, comfortable lobby and bar area. Great location in the western suburbs of Sydney. And also conviently next door to a 24hr McDonalds for all fine dining needs.

I'm over from Adelaide for work and have spent the last couple of weeks here at the Rydges Bankstown. I work away from home a lot all over the country and this has been one of my best stays! The staff are excellent, very friendly, and professional. The rooms are great, and the food is excellent. Nothing is too much... More

Location: It's not in Bankstown but in Bass Hill, 2 suburbs away, but a good base for W/SW Sydney. The only annoying thing about the location is that you can't turn right in or out, and in peak hour it's hard to do a U turn. There is a shopping centre nearby but not really walking distance unless you want... More

Thanks for a great summary I have some good news for you - Rydges is launching a new Rise Breakfast concept which has a wider breakfast selection. Should be rolled out within the next 4 - 5 weeks. Regards, Brett More

Have stayed here 3-4 times in the last year both with and without my family. It is a well maintained hotel with very comfortable rooms. The pool is also great for the kids. If you can, book a balcony room as they are larger and very comfortable. We have never had a negative experience here

Simple, clean and great service... I travel around the state for work and I'll definitely add it to my list of places to stay when in this part of Sydney!

For $129 a night, I am assuming I got the cheapest room. The place had a nice feel to it and my room, although no dedicated air con, was pleasantly cool once running. Our room faced the McDonaldsand the main road, so got a BIT noisy with the late night carpark loiterers. All in all, a great stay for the price

Thank you for your review and I am glad you enjoyed your stay with us. For future reference, all our rooms do have dedicated air conditioning. The panels are located just outside the bathroom. Whilst most people find our rooms at the hotel reasonably quiet we do sometimes get noise carry over from the Hume Highway. To avoid this, please... More

I chose this hotel for it's location, being pretty well central to all my meetings, everything about the hotel is functional, there was no area of the hotel that shined or in fairness let it self down. the breakfast was basic but edible and the dinner met expectations. overall a well located hotel for business but don't plan to use... Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay at Rydges Bankstown. I usually stay at another hotel in Bankstown for business travel but stayed at Rydges this time due to a colleagues recommendation and was not disappointed. The hotel is conveniently located on the highway so very easy to get to, free parking is also a bonus! My room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant was nice... More

As frequent travellers between Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, we have experienced many inner and outer city motels and this is our first time at this hotel. We will return again. Our experience was identical to that of the last reviewer “spcahk”. In order of priority for us, we had a clean, quiet, spacious and comfortable room. Of minor relevence to... More

Thank you for your review. They way you describe the hotel I thought provided a good summary for future guests interested in staying at the hotel. We see ourselves as a clean, pleasant and friendly hotel with a good restaurant and bar. Our rooms are not brand new, however are still well mantained, clean and generally quiet. Feel free to...
