We recently spent 1 night at Travelway motel. The manager was very rude when trying to book in. If there was other accomodation available we would have gone elsewhere. The room was very basic. The rooms may be tired, but they are functional and very clean and well offset by the friendliness of staff and management. The restaurant offers good meals: breakfast and dinner and the in-room mini bar is surprisingly reasonably priced - not the usual "rip off at all cost" approach adopted by a lot of other places

We spent 3 nights during the Master Games. A good budget motel with friendly managers. Was the only place left in port pirie with a family room. Has a pool and cooking facilities and a large flat sized room. Fine for a single night stop over. However port pirie is a big town A nd you couldspend more time here successfully
