Island View B & B in Airlie Beach is a hidden gem. The rooms, are spacious, clean and well appointed. The tropical continental breakfast is very tasty, as is the view from the balcony where it is served. Karen and Steve, the owners, are friendly and very helpful. Airlie Beach is Mecca for backpackers. It is a great town but sometimes all a person needs is a little solitude which this B&B provides wonderfully.
