This was a wonderful stay. The rooms were excellent. The staff amazing. The location is a little bit of a walk to the beach but, not something to complain about. This hotel sits next to the golf course but, there is a walking path that leads down to the coast. Maybe 1/2 Kilometer at most. We say a few kangaroos... more

We are regular visitors to Port Douglas but this time decided to spend a few days at Palm Cove on the way up to Port Douglas - what a mistake. Palm Cove s nice but Port Douglas is far better - anything you can do in Palm Cove you can do in Port Douglas - and much much more. Accomodation... more

We enjoyed a two bedroom suite at the resort. The complex was beautiful, the food was great, the service was good, and the staff was friendly. We definitely would come back. (The scenery and weather had a lot to do with it, too). more

The resort is close to the beach only a 5 minute walk and it caters for families with kids. I work in the hospitality Industry and have travelled extensively - I have never seen power points on the bed head in the centre hidden by the pillows. After reading the previous reviews I was very worried about staying at the Novotel Rockford Palm Cove but could not fault the establishment or staff in any way. The rooms are old but clean and comfortable. The only thing I may suggest is an exhaust fan in the bathroom to allow steam to escape. The meals were fine and prices... more
