We checked in for 10 nights, with 3 adults and 3 young kids under 5. The apartments are sparkling, we had a 3bed spa apartment on the ground floor. On the positive side, coolum seaside is well located, a block back from the beach and in central coolum. The apartments are new with big flat screen TV's, miele appliances etc.... more

My experience at Coolum Seaside has always been exemplary. When my boyfriend and I first stayed here in 2003, we were taken in, and have returned just about every year since! We found this place through wotif.com. Dont be put off by the outside when you arrive. Ask to be dropped at reception not at end of road, otherwise you have to carry your case down quite a few stairs. Perfect for what we were looking for. It has 2 heated pools, spas and BBQ's. We stayed in a 3 bedroom (7 beds), spacious apartment with laundry, 2nd bathroom and 2 bedrooms away from the noise of family and kitchen area (perfect for small children at night), clean, 2 TV's, Austel Channels, excellent kitchen utensils, 2 bathrobes, friendly/helpful office managers.... more

Without doubt the apartments do live up to their 5* rating. They are spacious and well equiped with everything you would need for a pleasant stay. The premises has two pools and we found the smaller of the two the better. However, I wouldn't want to be on the ground floor as the apartments do not have very good views.... more
