“Perfect for our stay”

I was travelling with my daughter, so 2 beds were important. Not only did we have this, but separate bedrooms and ensuites and all for a very reasonable price. We only stayed one night - but thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and appreciated a very welcoming Anne letting us check in in the morning,so we could unload before exploring Arrowtown. A... More

We have just returned from 5 wonderful weeks in New Zealand (March 2012). We thoroughly enjoyed our two days at the Arrowtown Homestay and would like to recommend it to small families or couples. We stayed but one night at Anne and Arthur Gormack's Arrowtown Homestay while on a madcap exploration of South Island. Their home, which they designed and built, is lovely with an incredible view. The location is perfect for walking to town and back after dinner, and it is so quiet. We stayed in the spacious lower floor of their home... More

Having been to Queenstown on a previous trip and found it just abit too touristy we decided to base ourselves for a week in Arrowtown and we're so very glad we did.
