This is the best place we have stayed on our road trip in NT. The owner is incredibly helpful and made sure that we had a great stay. In terms of room quality it was above average compared to other motels in NT, but what made it a 5 star stay is the value for money and the great service... more
Rooms are very, very average. Mine had some plumbing problem that meant the whole room smelled like sewerage. This motel is extremely run down but maybe that's what you get in Tennant Creek .... more
So Very sorry you had a poor stay. By the sounds you must have been in a budget room. We have basically been full every night from the middle of april. These are yet to be renovated. We have now 24 new beds on premise and 14 updated rooms. The plumbing Problem is So simple to fix and i wonder...
The Motel was quite busy at the time so we were allocated rooms that hadn't been renovated yet. We were told upon arrival that new beds may be installed during the week. This review frustrates me no end, we have 75 rooms and replacing all 190 beds in one hit would cost a small fortune. Since february we have brought 22 new beds into the venue. We had 12 rooms move up half a star in march and are very proud of the work we are doing. It is not a standard...

Checked out this motel in one of the new refurbished rooms, even a new queen bed. At last somewhere to stay in Tennant Creek. The free wireless internet is a nice touch. Thank you for your positive review. We have done much work over the past few months to upgrade the property here in Tennant. Free wireless internet is a new idea and is working very well. New beds have been placed in many rooms which have also been painted. Hope to see you again.
No Tennant Creek is not the nicest of towns. We stayed in 1999 in the Bluestone Motor Inn and now we tried the Eldorado Motor Inn. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was small, clean but with a very loud a/c. Pool was small and not too clean. We had good food in the restaurant, better than the food in... more
As mentioned in this one, It was in the weeks before we had taken over. Again we have made huge changes and rooms are much neater and in some cases totally overhauled. We have replaced several Air Cons over the past 2 years as well the pool was totally drained and refibreglassed and painted along with with a new shade...
The Motel is run by very unfrindly people reflecting the general atmosphere in Tennant Creek, which is marked by groups of young aborigenes roaming in the city and making a very unsafe impression. The food in the Motel was also very basic as well as the rooms. I wouldn't recommand to anybody to stay a night in Tennant Creek. more
This review was posted before we took over. We have asked to have it removed but simply to much personal information is needed to allow that to happen. Tennant creek is very safe. It is largely like any other country town in the country. Significant upgrades have been made since this review. We hope you will disregard.
