We were staying elsewhere but had to go and have a beer at the famous Croc Hotel. Beautiful interior in the bar, great service and a cold beer. You pay a little more but it is in Kakadu. The hotel is right in the middle of Jabiru, great location.

Check-in staff were good. The room was okay although the bathroom was a little tired with paint peeling off the door. We were three guests but our room was not prepared for three so we had to call for another towel and cup but didn't notice the shortage of tea bags so went without. In itself, this was no big deal... We've stayed in a number of hotels around the world and my wife and I rate this hotel as number one for service, regardless of price. Jo Perry, the Front Office Manager welcomed us on arrival and accommodated us with the room we had requested as per TripAdvisor reviews. She and the staff could not do enough for us. It... More

This hotel is in a remote location and probably the best of what is available in Kakadu. The room was spacious although the bathroom was very dated. More attention is needed to cleanliness of the room, we had cobwebs on the chairs and fan inside the room. The restaurant has no ambiance - very brightly lit - looks like a... More

This hotel really is in the Aussie bush and has all the facilities expected of a 3.5/4 star. The indigenous gallery topped off a memorable short stay. Good pool, aircon, meals, clean well appointed room. No lift. Compliments to the helpful cooperative staff. One small negative the walkways and steps needed a hose down.

Overall pretty good considering the remote location. Has all the basics and is clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. Limited choices in this area but this is the best, the restaurant is very nice too.

Good hotel with a good restaurant. Suggest asking for a room on ground floor if you aren't good with stairs as there are no lifts. Found all staff to be very helpful. Good option for stays in kakadu. Yes it's expensive for what it is - but you are in the middle of nowhere with limited options. Most of your... More

After a couple of days at Coolinda Lodge 1/2 hour down the road, we spent a night here in Jabiru. I was not sure what to expect as it looks a little "quirky" on the web--hotel shaped like a croc. I was a little confused with the layout of this place initially. It was very well presented and the reception staff were first rate in... More
