Barry and Jenny were very welcoming. The room was comfortable and spacious with separate bathroom and toilet. The food was well presented and tasty. The location is a short drive from Nelson, however Richmond is within walking distance. I would recommend this B & B to friends

We had a lovely big room with and en suite which, although not huge was big enough for its purpose. Our hosts were very helpful and informative about local highlights and helped us by booking a trip on the water taxis in Abel Tasman National Park. We spent 2 nights at idesia in April. Idesia is located not far from busy Nelson so good if you want somewhere quiet. The hosts, Jenny and Barry, were warm and accommodating.
