It's a great hostel. Nice people, excellent service, cozy atmosphere, clean, well equipped kitchen and free bread ;) Not kidding, if you're in a different hostel in Nelson, pack your bags and switch to the accents on the park!

An excellent hostel that has really friendly staff, a great kitchen some lovely balconies and an outdoor beer garden with a happy atmosphere. Rooms are clean and tidy and I dig the power saving electricity in the shower rooms.

Although some initial difficulties with an on-line reservation, we were delighted with a great location, really well run operation and highly responsive and helpful owners and staff at this attractive downtown hostel. Booked a room for one night, by phone. The receptionist didn't take my name or anything, just confirmed the room availability and asked "confirm by e-mail". The location is right next to the cathedral and close to lots of restaurants (including the one in the basement) and shopping.
