Perfectly located for evening dining in Nelsons inner city, 5 min stroll to excellant eateries. Wayne and Val have a wonderful Villa with superb accomadation, seperate bedroom, bathroom/ensuite/lounge/kitchen The Garden Suite was tastefully furnished, with everthing you need including two TVs. The breakfast sets you up for the day, Wayne can cook!! will be returning.

Superb accommodation of the highest standard. We stayed for 3 nights over the Easter break and it was, in the words of Tina Turner, "Simply the Best".Situated in a quite but very central part of town (you don't need a car), it was just where we wanted to be. We stayed for two nights, and enjoyed the relaxed stay. A short walk into Nelson with very many interesting buildings, and good restaurants made this accomodation an ideal choice. The hosts, Wayne and Val were helpful, and the breakfasts really delicious. To have washer/dryer facilities was a bonus.

This is a very high standard of accommodation in a quiet area of a pleasant city. Stayed here 3 nights at the start of a South Island tour. We had downstairs bedroom at front. Excellent facilities and tastefully set out. Warm welcome from the hosts. Good wifi. 5 minutes walk to the Main Street with lots of wonderful restaurants and bars. Breakfasts were great, with plenty of variety and conversation. Altogether a highly recommended stay.

The charming little villa in situated ideally in Nelson so you can walk to everything easily. Wayne and Val are great host, wonderful suggestion of restaurants and sites to check-out. The Villa was wonderful. Very modern. The upstairs suite was gorgeous with artist-created steel furnishings. Everything was lovely and well thought out. And the owners were friendly, interesting and great cooks. We enjoyed the lovely views from our balcony that overlooked the rooftops out to the water! Great location. Walking distance to the park, town, shops, etc.

We wish we could have stayed at Shelbourne Villa and Nelson for longer than 1 day. The property is beautiful with well appointed rooms and guest lounge. Located a pleasant 3-5 minute stroll from town. Strongly recommend staying.
