This motel was located within walking distance of the downtown area. The room was clean and pleasant. The staff was helpful in offering suggestions about area attractions. They helped get a rental car, etc. All in all I had no problems with anything during my stay.

This is a very nice motor lodge fairly central to Nelson but on a busy motorway. Clean, attractive and comfortable. Just not a lot of ambiance. Great if you have a car but not ideal for a solo traveller with no transport. Fellow who checked me in (owner?) was very pleasant
