We've first driven past, but than luckily turned around and stayed a night at the Ambassador Motor Lodge. Nice and friendly Owner who baked amazing Muffins - Very clean place to stay, you wouldn't be disappointed. City itself has character buildings, some little narrow streets and of course the Penguins ... I'll visit again...

Travelling with 2 small children is never simple and the folks at Ambassador Motor Lodge couldn't have been more helpful. The owner had up to the minute information about the penguin viewing, and brought us warm muffins, right from the oven. The room was quiet, clean, well equipped, and comfortable. Easy to find.

We stayed for 1 night at the Ambassador Motel and very much enjoyed our stay. We were welcomed by a lovely lady covering for the owners and our room was ready early. We stayed in unit 5 and had everything we needed.

Jenny could not have been more helpful upon our arrival, providing us with fresh baked muffins and a lovely smile.
