Found this in the Jason's book but didn't know how spectacular it would be!! Derrick is terrific! Explained a lot about the area to us. This is without doubt the best holiday park we have stayed at in New Zealand!!!! Extremely welcoming and helpful owner. Piping hot showers and well equipped kitchens. Ideal location to see penguins. Would highly recommend this holiday park if you want good value and excellent facilities!

Staying here was an fantastic choice. Friendly, accommodating, and felt good right from the first phone contact. Clean, with an air of generosity about the place. Relaxed atmosphere, great walk out to the sea and mighty river mouth, and the only traffic the sound of cows moo-ing in the distance. Bliss.
