We traveled in early January 2012 with two adults and two children. We booked a cabin with a double and a set of bunks. , the cabin had really nice outside sitting area, was spacey inside with a tv, which we didn't use. The beds were a little on the hard side.

We went to many of the Top Ten and this was a little smaller than others with not the top quality kitchens but it suited our needs for the location as we were there only one night passing through. Adequate.

We stayed in a very clean large double ensuite with shower, good room facilities but was spoiled by the noise from the road and railway.
Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Expensive wifi available from reception.

Awesome for families, i stayed 1 night with my children before my hubby arrived and felt so safe. Lovely and clean. Nice pool and spa and playground. Friendly, helpfull staff, had movie nights in the weekends for the children. On the expensive side (compared to other south island top 10 parks) but worth it. Cant wait to visit again!
