Kaikoura is a small town - only 4,000 residents. This small hotel was immaculately clean, nicely appointed, well located to all the sights and fairly priced. The efficiency kitchen was well stocked and provided a good opportunity to save a few dollars on an in-room breakfast and snacks. The management was very accomodating. More

Clean and quite nice with a smart/well condensed kitchen. The partial ocean view was worth the extra money. The location was ideal for us, quiet part of town, not far from the seal colony and the walk to restaurants and shops is just a 10 minute walk which is all by the ocean. The owner was quite nice and most... More

We stayed for 2 nights and had a great stay. It was easy to find and only 10 min walk from the far end of town. The motel is positioned on the waterfront and there are sea facing rooms (although we were not allocated one). The room was well equipped and very clean. There were plenty of restaurants within 5... The owner was very pleasant and accomodating. The view was what US would call filtered however we had a corner room and it was fine. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Well worth the cost. More

Although we didn't get the free upgrade we had on our last visit, this motel remains a good choice. It is far enough away from the noisy end of town but near enough to walk if you want to. There are plenty of restaurants in both directions. The property occupies a waterfront site with sea views available from some rooms.... More

We stayed here two nights while touring the area. The studio was quite large and comfortable, with good seating and lighting for reading. Quiet and good location. More

I have stayed here a number of times for a week or 10 days - I always take a front room with a view of the sea - more expensive but worth it - especially in winter when it's stormy - rooms are super comfortable - excellent heat pumps - good bathroom with jets in bath and plenty of hot... More

We got two walk in rooms when we arrived late into Kaikoura. Good clean accommodation with adequate parking. We had the rooms to the side (the sea facing ones were much more expensive) and had a great dinner at the White Morph restaurant next door (they have some great wine pairings). A really good option if you are in Kaikoura! More

Very pleasant motel with well maintained, clean, large rooms with full facilities, including kitchenette, microwave, fridge etc. Only rooms in the front have sea views to die for, so we had to get out and have a stroll outside, on the waterfront, to enjoy the area. Restaurants and cafes are nearby, including an excellent one next door to the hotel.... More
