Cheryl and Malcolm made us very welcome at their lovely beach-side home. Our room was spacious and had views across the garden to the sea. We were introduced to their sheep and goats and used a canoe to explore the river and coastal area. Breakfast was delicious. Very quiet and peaceful house by the sea, with easy beach access. Very welcoming and caring hosts, excellent for a couple of days of peace off the beaten track. A whitebait enthusiast expert.

We had a wonderful stay with Malcolm and Cheryl at Awatuna Beachside. We couldn't have been made more welcome, our room was perfect with the sound of the sea reminding us of cruising holidays.
