We arrived late and left early so it would have been easy for the owners of this hotel not to bother much with us. However we were made very welcome, chocolates were in the room for the children and we were given plenty of help with directions. This motel was well presented, very clean, reception was excellent and friendly and information regarding places to eat were recommended and were also excellent and close to the motel and realistically priced. The nightly rate at this motel was exceptional value. more

OK is probably best description I can give. Room wasn’t very large and property is probably quite old. Sometimes I wonder where and how ratings are given. This was supposed to be 4 or 4 ½ star. Stayed one night while driving down the west coast of NZ. The motel offers clean, tidy rooms. The room we stayed in had a small kitchenette. The beds were comfortable. The location is quiet, even if it is on the main road. No complaints. more
