Absolutely nothing wrong with the Gables; clean, well presented but very standard NZ motel fare; you park outside the only door to you unit which is one of a number around a car park. We were staying in Greymouth on our way through to Fox Glacier. We arrived in this sleepy little town weary from the drive from Christchurch. Our host was extremely friendly and accommodation. The room was extremely spacious but definitely needs a bit of a modern makeover. Still the room was quiet and fit our needs for the overnight stay. More

We stayed here for one night in December 2011. We stayed overnight before catching the train back to Christchurch. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable and had everything that we needed.
