We were somewhat disappointed with this B & B. It was a little tired and while the owner was polite, he wasn't chatty, warm or welcoming. There was not a room where guests could visit other than breakfast table.

We only had one night here unfortunately but it was a treat. It is a gorgeous house full of character, the room we stayed in was enormous as was the ensuite and beautifully furnished. I stayed here in October 2011 for one night. It's a pleasant b n b well placed as a stop over enroute to the glaciers or before heading over to Christchurch. The host are very friendly andvwas well looked after.
